Amazon utilizes handling time as a crucial component in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Here, you can find more information on how to utilize Handling Time properly.
What is Handling Time?
Handling Time is a setting in Amazon for the estimated time between the end user placing an order and how long it takes to be processed by the fulfillment facility and handed over to a specified delivery service. This does not include the time the package is in transit to the customer's address.
Handling Time must be set based on LVK Shipping Methods and Timelines to avoid delays and provide a clear expectation to your customers.
NOTE: If Handling Time is not set up for 2 days in Amazon, even if the order's Required Ship Date is 2 days, it will not ship in that time.
