Amazon uses Handling Time to help ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Here's what you need to know to set it up correctly.
What Is Amazon Handling Time?
Handling Time is an Amazon setting for the estimated time between when a customer places an order and when the fulfillment facility processes it and hands it to a carrier. It doesn't include the time the package spends in transit to the customer's address.
Set your Handling Time based on LVK's Shipping Methods and Timelines to avoid delays and give your customers a clear expectation.
If you don't set Handling Time to 2 days in Amazon, the order won't ship within 2 days, even if its Required Ship Date is 2 days.
