If your product requires a custom box size or you wish to use branded packaging materials, LVK can accommodate your needs. Note that assistance from our support team is required to set up custom boxes and mailing inserts in your account.

Custom Packaging Policy, Costs, and Liability
Review the following key policies before using custom packaging or marketing inserts:

| Packaging Review | LVK will not review, test, or provide feedback on the dimensions, durability, or design of client-provided custom packaging. |
| Branded Tape/Stickers | Branded tape and stickers are not currently supported for outbound shipments. |
| Out-of-Stock Protocol | If your custom packaging runs out, LVK will halt shipping until you provide instructions. |
| SKU Assignment | To assign specific custom packaging to certain SKUs, open a support ticket for setup. |
Important Note
If a product falls out of custom packaging during transit, or is damaged due to insufficient packaging material, LVK is not liable for the resulting loss or damage.
Setting Up Custom Packaging and Marketing Materials
To start using a custom box or mailer, complete these three steps:
- Add as a SKU to your store. Create a new SKU for your custom packaging with accurate dimensions, weight, and a descriptive name for proper identification and correct shipping charge calculation.
- Create a Shipping Plan. Send the custom packaging to our facility using a shipping plan. See Creating a Shipping Plan in LVK for instructions.
- Contact Support. Open a support ticket to set up automation rules assigning the custom boxes to specific order types and products.
Deprecated Feature
The Custom Box and Custom Insert product settings are deprecated and have no technical function. Marking a SKU as Custom Box or Custom Insert will not assign it to your orders. You must contact support to complete this setup.
