Global-e orders require every line item to ship in LVK, including virtual and subscription SKUs that have no physical product. A virtual SKU is an item with nothing to pick or pack, such as a subscription, a digital product, or a service fee.
For a virtual SKU to import into LVK as pending, the This product requires shipping setting must be enabled on that SKU in Shopify.
Important
When This product requires shipping is disabled, the SKU does not import into LVK as pending. The order cannot ship completely, and the shipment fails to confirm back to Global-e.
How to Mark Virtual SKUs for Global-e Shipping

Log in to Shopify as an admin and enable This product requires shipping on every virtual SKU you ship with Global-e.
- Open a ticket with the LVK support team to have the SKU marked as virtual in the LVK backend.
