Shipping zones define what a carrier charges and how long delivery takes based on how far the destination is from the origin warehouse. Zone 9 is the farthest zone, so Zone 9 packages cost more and take longer in transit than packages going anywhere else.

How Zone 9 Affects Cost and Transit Time
Your origin point is the LVK warehouse where that inventory is stocked, so the same order can fall in a different zone depending on which warehouse holds the stock. Zone 9 rates are listed in the rate card included in your agreement.
To illustrate the difference, a 0.25 lb order costs and travels as follows:
- Outside Zone 9: $5.96, arriving in 2 days
- Zone 9: $9.87, arriving in 4 days

LVK Zone 9 Locations
LVK treats these destinations as Zone 9:
- American Samoa
- Guam
- Northern Mariana Islands
- Puerto Rico
- Virgin Islands
Zone 9 Shipping Restrictions
- Hazmat SKUs cannot ship to Zone 9 or international destinations.
- Expedited shipping is not available for Zone 9.
- Costs vary by shipping level and by which carriers serve the destination.
