Onboarding is the process that takes you from a closed sales deal to shipping live orders with LVK. An implementation specialist sets up your account around your goals and your required ship date, and works through a shared checklist with you until you go live.
Onboarding may incur a fee depending on the complexity of your account, including store integrations and carrier setup. Your sales contact confirms any fee before onboarding begins.

LVK Onboarding Overview
Onboarding covers everything between signing with LVK and shipping your first order. The LVK Onboarding team configures your account, connects your systems, and trains your team so fulfillment runs correctly from day one.
LVK Onboarding Timeline
Onboarding takes 3 to 5 weeks from start to finish. LVK assigns you an implementation specialist, the person who owns your setup and is your main point of contact. They learn your goals, then give you a checklist of tasks that moves you through onboarding step by step.
What Happens During LVK Onboarding
Onboarding usually follows this sequence:
- Connect your sales channels and stores to LVK.
- Define your automation rules.
- Set up your locations and inventory.
- Migrate data from your previous fulfillment system, if you have one.
- Train your team on the warehouse features you'll use daily.
You and your implementation specialist work through the checklist together until every setup task is complete and your account is live.
Your Responsibilities During Onboarding
Complete your checklist tasks by the dates identified. Many tasks depend on earlier ones, so a single delayed task can hold up everything that follows it. Working the checklist in order keeps your go-live date on track.
Who to Involve in Onboarding Calls
Bring the right people from your organization to each call. When a call covers warehouse setup, include your warehouse manager. When it covers customer support or billing, include the people who own those functions.
A team that trains during onboarding runs fulfillment confidently at go-live, so the people doing the work should hear the setup decisions firsthand.
Going Live After LVK Onboarding
Once the Onboarding team finishes your setup and all checklist tasks are complete, your account is live and LVK begins shipping your orders.
Your implementation specialist then hands you off to the LVK support team, your ongoing partner for questions after go-live. See How to Contact LVK Support.
