LVK allows you to manage how the different shipping options in your store are paired with the shipping methods available in LVK, ensuring your orders are processed and shipped on time while allowing you to set clear expectations for your customers.
Whenever you add a new shipping rate/method to your store, you must map it in LVK. If a shipping method is not mapped and orders are imported using that shipping method, LVK will use your default account setting. When your account is first created, the default account setting for shipping methods is Standard (3-5 day shipping); you can adjust this setting as you deem fit.
How to Map Shipping Methods
Before you can map shipping methods in LVK, they must already exist in your store platform AND be used on an order that is imported into LVK. If you already have met these requirements, skip to step 3, if not, start at Step 1.
- Create the shipping rates in your store.
- Create a test order using the new shipping rate. Once the order is imported into LVK, you can map your shop shipping method.
NOTE: New shipping methods will be visible in LVK once they have been used for test order the first time. We generate shipping methods in LVK once they’re utilized; there is no automatic sync.
- Go to Settings > Shipping and scroll to Specific Shipping Methods.
- Click the LVK Shipping Method dropdown next to the Shop Shipping Method you are editing and select the corresponding option for your needs.
- Click Save.
NOTE: LVK will not automatically import rates into the app, but you can request your rate card from our support team to ensure your shipping prices align with your costs.
