Amazon Integration FAQs

LVK connects to Amazon so you can fulfill Amazon orders from LVK inventory instead of relying only on Amazon's warehouses. Two setups cover most cases: switching a product to merchant-fulfilled when FBA stock runs out, and mapping an Amazon SKU to a different SKU in LVK.

How to Fulfill Amazon Orders Through LVK When FBA Inventory Runs Out

FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) means Amazon stores and ships the product. FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) means you or your 3PL ships it. When your FBA inventory for a product runs out, switch that product to FBM in Amazon Seller Central and LVK fulfills the orders instead.

Watch How to Convert an FBA product to Fulfilled by Merchant on Amazon Seller Central (1m 40s) for the steps in Seller Central.

How to Map an Amazon SKU to a Different LVK SKU

Sometimes the same physical product carries one SKU on Amazon and another in LVK. Mapping the two tells the warehouse which product to pick and keeps inventory counts accurate. You map them by making the Amazon FBM SKU a kit with the LVK SKU as its component.

The example below maps Amazon SKU XYZ to LVK SKU XYZ_A.

Important

When you connect your Amazon store directly to LVK, don't also connect it through your Shopify store. Two connections cause products and orders to import incorrectly.

  1. Connect your Amazon store to LVK. LVK imports your FBM SKUs automatically once the store is connected. See How to Connect Your Store to LVK Fulfillment.
  2. Go to the Products page in LVK and search for the Amazon SKU (XYZ).
  3. Open the product details page and scroll to the Kit Components section.
  4. Select Add Components and enter the LVK SKU (XYZ_A).
  5. Save your changes. Orders that import from Amazon for SKU XYZ now tell the warehouse to pick and ship SKU XYZ_A.
