International shipments need specific product details for customs clearance. LVK requires four fields on each product before it can ship internationally: customs value, country of manufacture, description of goods, and HTS code.

Required International Details in LVK
These four fields are required to ship a product internationally:
- Customs Value
- Country of Manufacture
- Description of Goods
- Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code
LVK does not provide tariff codes or customs advice. Contact your product supplier or manufacturer for help identifying the correct values.
How to Add International Details to Products in LVK
- Log in to your account and go to Products.
- Click a product and scroll to the International section on the lower right.

Enter the customs value, country of manufacture, description of goods, and HTS code.
- Save the product.

International Details Field Definitions
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Customs Value | The actual price of the goods as shown on the invoice. For example, 10 dresses at $25 USD each is a customs value of $250 USD. |
| Country of Manufacture | The 2-letter country code for where the product was made, such as CN for China. |
| Description of Goods | A plain description of the item for customs officials, such as "women's cotton dress" rather than a brand or style name. |
| HTS Code | The Harmonized Tariff Schedule code that classifies your product for international trade. Search for it at hts.usitc.gov, or ask your vendor or manufacturer. |
