International Details Definitions
Required International Details
The following fields are required to ship products internationally:
- Customs Value
- Country of Manufacture
- Description of Goods
- Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code
LVK does not provide tariff codes or customs advice. Contact your product supplier or manufacturer for help.
Add International Details to Products
- Go to lvk.shipsfor.us/dashboard/products/.
- Click on a product and scroll to the International section on the lower right. Enter the required details there.
- Enter the customs value for the product as shown below.
International Details Definitions
- Customs Value: The actual price of the goods as shown on the invoice. For example, 10 dresses at $25 USD each = $250 USD customs value. If you use Shopify and have the customs value and tariff code entered there, LVK will pull those details automatically.
- HTS Code (Harmonized Tariff Schedule): The global product classification code used for international trade. Search for your code at hts.usitc.gov. Contact your vendor or manufacturer if you need help finding it.
- Country of Manufacture: Enter using the 2-letter country code (e.g., CN for China).
