Deadlines for peak season 10/1/24 – 1/31/25
Inventory/Receiving Deadlines
- Black Friday: All inventory must be delivered to your LVK Fulfillment Center no later than October 25, 2024 to allow time for proper receiving and slotting.
- Christmas: All inventory must be delivered to your LVK Fulfillment Center no later than December 2, 2024 to allow time for proper receiving and slotting.
Receiving inventory in compliance can take up to 10 business days. Inventory not following our receiving guidelines will be subject to longer wait times, possible rejection, and fees.
NOTE: You must send your items beforehand so we can receive and ship them during our busiest days. Please let our customer service or your CSM know about the season's forecast so we can plan accordingly.
Carrier Services & Deadlines
Use the below deadlines to communicate effectively with your customers.
Order deadlines are based on the shipping cutoff time of our slowest carrier. Review our Shipping capacity HERE.
Thanksgiving
- For Standard delivery, orders must be placed by November 14
- For Expedited delivery, orders must be placed by November 20
Christmas
- For Standard delivery, orders must be placed by December 11
- For Expedited delivery, orders must be placed by December 18
New Year’s
- For Standard delivery, orders must be placed by December 19
- For Expedited delivery, orders must be placed by December 25
Peak Season SLAs
Peak Season Shipping Time SLAs
NOTE: Compliant Shipping Plans will be received within 10 business days.
Shipping times do not include transit times; the delivery of orders will be based on the carrier's deadlines. Orders must be imported as "Ready to Ship: Yes" (meaning no blockers or holds are added) to be shipped within this time frame.
LVK is not responsible for delays caused by carriers. Some carriers may not scan packages during peak season. LVK does not guarantee Shipping Service Level Agreements during peak.
NOTE: Standard orders that come in after 12 PM and expedited orders after 3 PM will be processed the following day.
- B2B & D2C Standard Orders will be fulfilled within 5 business days
- Expedited Orders will be fulfilled within 3 business day.
- Extra Large Orders containing more than 25 units are classified as Extra Large Orders and will be given an additional 5 days to pack. Therefore, processing Extra Large Standard shipping during Peak can take 5-10 business days.
- Overnight Orders will be fulfilled within 1 business day.
- Marketplace (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) orders will be fulfilled within 2 business days. To avoid issues on your seller account, click HERE to learn how to adjust your handling time.
NOTE: If you change the shipping method for an order after it has been imported, the order will be shipped with the updated shipping method, but it will be processed using the original shipping method SLAs. Review our shipping methods and carrier details
Peak Season Special Projects SLAs
Due to the volume of orders during peak season, LVK will not be offering the following services between November 1 and December 31:
- Requests for complex special projects, such as barcoding and kitting; please reach out to the LVK Support team for special requests.
Peak Season Return SLAs
- Returns processing will be delayed during Peak season. We will resume standard processing on January 31, 2025
Peak Season Customer Support Hours
- Our support will remain available Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 8 PM ET. Starting on 11/20/24, we will analyze and adapt our support schedule based on business needs. Check out how to contact support by clicking HERE.
- Our support team aims to respond to tickets within 2 hours of receiving them. We will continue with the next response within 4 hours and aim to resolve any issues within 2 business days. The time to resolve an issue may vary depending on its complexity and availability. This response time does not include other support teams, such as Special Projects, Carrier Claims, or Billing.
- You will have 24/7 access to LVK Support through our Ticketing System HERE.
