Once a carrier picks up a package, the carrier controls delivery. When tracking shows a package as delivered but your customer says it never arrived, a few checks resolve most cases.
Important
LVK is not responsible for packages that a carrier fails to deliver while the package is in the carrier's possession.
Package Marked Delivered but Not Received
When the carrier tracking site shows a package as delivered and your customer has not received it, work through these checks:
- Verify that the shipping address on the order is accurate.
- Ask the customer to look around the delivery location for the package or for a notice of attempted delivery.
- Ask the customer to check with neighbors in case someone accepted the package on their behalf.
- Wait 1 to 2 additional business days. Carriers sometimes mark a package as delivered before it arrives.
