LVK does not accept consumable or perishable products for restock.
There are a few different ways we can manage your customer returns at LVK. This article walks through each option so you can determine how you'd like us to handle your returned products.

Returns Overview
LVK offers 3 return options:
- Send returns to an LVK distribution center.
- Send returns to an alternative location (a returns partner or your warehouse).
- Return to sender: The carrier returns the package to the warehouse because the recipient denied receipt or the address was incorrect. LVK is not responsible for the package once it's handed to the carrier, and this may result in unexpected carrier surcharges (UCS).
Returns can be created at both U.S. and Canadian facilities. Processing takes 7–14 business days.
Send Returns to LVK
Fees for return shipments:
- Restocking Fee: $2.75 for the first item + $0.25 per additional item
- Inspection Fee: $3.45/unit (apparel) / $2.95/unit (non-apparel)
- Self Returns: $2.75 for the first item + $0.25 per additional item + inspection fee per unit (if applicable)
- Paid Label Fee: Cost of the return label based on weight.
- Return to Sender [domestic]: Restocking fee only
Return labels use standard service shipping, regardless of the original service level. Expedited return services are not available.
Common Return Order Scenarios
The scenarios below illustrate fees for a 5-item return (Order A).
Paid Label Return — Order A
- Label fee: $8.00 (weight-based)
- Inspection fee: $17.25 ($3.45 × 5)
- Restocking fee: $3.75 ($2.75 + $0.25 × 4)
- Total: $29.00
Self Return — Order A
- Inspection fee: $17.25 ($3.45 × 5)
- Restocking fee: $3.75 ($2.75 + $0.25 × 4)
- Total: $21.00
Return to Sender — Order A [USA to USA]
- Shipping rate: Same cost as the original outbound shipment
- Restocking fee: $3.75 ($2.75 + $0.25 × 4)
- Total: $3.75 + shipping label cost
If a carrier receives a package marked "Return to Sender," the return will be accepted and charges will apply — even if Allow Returns is turned off in SFApp.
Return to Sender — Order A [Section 321]
- Shipping rate: $5.65 (flat fee)
- Restocking fee: $3.75 ($2.75 + $0.25 × 4)
- Total: $9.40
Send Returns to an Alternative Location
This option is only available for U.S. locations. Returns cannot be sent to international or Canadian alternative locations.
You can send returns to your office or a third-party address. Open a support ticket to add your address to the app.
- Restocking Fee: $0
- Self Return: $0
- Inspection Fee: $0
- LVK will generate return labels for your location.
- Shipping fees apply.
Paid Label Return — Order A (Alternative Location)
- Label fee: $0 (LVK generates return labels)
- Inspection Fee: $0
- Restocking Fee: $0
- Shipping Fee: Variable
- Total: Shipping fee only
You are responsible for the return shipping fee. If you charge the customer for return shipping, there is no additional cost to you.
Return Types LVK Does Not Support
- FBA Return Orders — Amazon originally fulfilled the order, so LVK cannot access it or process the return.
- SKUs not previously stored at LVK — LVK can only process returns for products it has previously held in its facility.
- International Returns
Return Definitions
- Restocking Fee: Cost of labor to restock items in inventory bins.
- Inspection Fee: Cost of a superficial inspection for obvious, visible damage.
- Self-Return: No RMA previously created in our system; the warehouse creates the RMA.
- Paid Label Fee: Return label cost generated through LVK's carrier account. Only available in the U.S.
- Return to Sender: Package denied by the recipient and returned to the warehouse. LVK has no control over the carrier's handling of these returns.
- Return to Sender [Domestic]: Order shipped from and returned within the same country. Charges: return label weight cost + restocking fee.
- Return to Sender [Section 321]: Order shipped from Canada to a U.S. consumer.
If a Return to Sender involves an order shipped with a third-party outbound label (e.g., dropshipped), no shipping charge applies.
Return Statuses
These statuses indicate where a return order is in the process:
- Pending: Return item(s) have not yet reached the warehouse.
- Warehouse Complete: Item(s) have been received back at the warehouse.
- Complete: Return order is fully processed in LVK.
