Passport DDP Shipping Overview
- Passport is an international shipping carrier built for modern direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
- LVK integrates with Passport, a duty and tax calculator for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. With DDP, your customers pay duties and taxes upfront instead of at delivery.
- Passport bills you directly for duties and taxes. LVK bills you separately for standard shipping costs, or custom rates if your billing profile specifies them (pick, pack, and ship costs).
How to Request Passport Shipping
- If you're not yet a ShipHero customer and want to offer DDP shipping, tell your sales agent. They'll connect you with the Passport team.
- If you're already a customer and want to add DDP shipping, open a ticket to request Passport shipping or ask your CSM.
- LVK acts as the intermediary between you and the Passport support team, including for claims.
