You can request inventory disposal or removal from a LVK Fulfillment Center. There are fees associated. This article outlines how to make a disposal or removal request and the associated fees.

Steps to Request a Full Inventory Removal
Inventory Disposal
In some cases, you will need inventory to be disposed of.
Common reasons for disposal include:
- Discontinued selling a specific SKU(s)
- Product expired
- Product is defected
- Client request
Steps to request disposal:
- Open a ticket with our Special Projects team HERE.
- While filling out the ticket, be sure to include a list of the affected SKUs and why we need to dispose of them (please refer to the above list).
- You may also upload a CSV document to the ticket if needed.
NOTE: This is the process that will be used to dispose of inventory, even though you are continuing to ship with us.
Associated Inventory Disposal Fees
- The disposal fee is $0.93 per pound in USD and CAD. This includes labor charges.
- Depending on the amount of inventory being disposed of, an additional dumpster fee may apply if a dumpster needs to be ordered.
- Example: If a SKU weighs 1.40 lbs and we carry 200 units, the total weight will be 280 lbs. X $0.93 = $260.40 is the LVK disposal fee.
- The disposal fee also applies to donations.
Inventory Removal (Partial)
If you remove all or partial inventory from our warehouse, we consider this a "removal."
Steps to Request a Partial Inventory Removal:
- Open a ticket with our Special Projects team HERE.
- Create a Removal Manual Order per warehouse location (Steps HERE.)
- Place the order on HOLD so the Special Project team can validate it. (Steps HERE.)
Associated Inventory Disposal Fees
The charge is $45/hr (USD) and $50/hr (CAD), in addition to picking, packing, and shipping of the product if being shipped to a domestic location.
NOTE: We do not ship removal orders to international locations.
Steps to Request a Full Inventory Removal:
NOTE: Initiating full inventory removal is the same as initiating a termination of LVK's services. Please review our Terms & Conditions, Section 8, Termination.
- Open a ticket with our customer support team HERE.
- Specify a date on which you would like to stop your shipments so that the support team can initiate the backend removal process and create your orders.
- Provide a destination address for your products.
